The 'Stro
The 'Stro is your university bar, a place to enjoy music every Wednesday night.
Located on the campus adjacent to Lazenby hall, the bar offers a full range of beers, spirits, cocktails and non alcoholic drinks.
We are open 9pm till late when we provide a free bus to College and Town. The "Stro is a safe venue with security guards employed each night to ensure students behave in an acceptable manner.
Local and imported DJ's complement the live bands that take to the stage regularly during term time.
As The 'Stro is a licenced venue it is strictly an 18+ venue. It is a condition of entry to the licensed premises known as The 'Stro that an acceptable proof of age document will be produced on request. In addition to a proof of age a proof of membership (i.e. student or staff card) must also be produced on request. Where no proof of membership card is available the person becomes a guest of a member provided that that person is signed in as a guest by a member with proof of membership and observes all the rules and regulations that may apply.

Most nights are free entry, however when a band or out of town DJ is booked there may be an entry cost with pre sales of tickets.
Code of Conduct and Dress Code
Welcome to The STRO. Our aim is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for everyone’s enjoyment. To maintain this standard we have implemented a code of conduct in which management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove anyone who does not respect the STRO, its staff or its policies.
ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR WILL NOT BE TOLERATED
The STRO is an 18+ student venue and photo ID and student card are required at all times. Guests of students must be signed in by a student with a valid student card.
On nights where the STRO is reaching capacity, management reserves the right to give students preference of entry over non students.
Dress code
The STRO adheres to a strict dress code aimed at keeping the club well presented at all times. The dress code is smart casual. Certain items of clothing will not be permitted and will result in refusal of entry. These items include but are not limited to the following:
Hats, Beanies, Bandanas, Sunnies, Male singlets, Men’s shorts, Sporting attire, Ripped/soiled clothing, Thongs, Steel caps, Club/Gang colours and patches
